Carl: [On why the album should be called 'The Libertines'] Well, every song on it is about us. It’s pretty reflective stuff and very up to the minute as well. The plot has thickened y’know and we’ve been very honest which means that sometimes obviously it is really hard to sing the songs on stage, especially with Peter and me. You look into each others' eyes and wonder what each other is thinking but…the dust will settle and we will sing about something else sooner or later.
