hello :)
awesome blog!
I love Carl to death, but don't you find it weird, that Carl did not reform the Libertines, saying it was because of Pete's drug abuse, and all the while he took, admittedly, so much coke during Dpt that the band spilt...? why? and after that he said he took drug and partied during one year, doing nothing else really! I mean why has he not accepted Peter's demand to reform the band? It was not because he wanted to keep a healthy lifestyle obsiously...
or maybe I miss something...
and now, as Carl said, it's so too late : he has a baby boy!
what's your opinion on all this?

ps : also even if many celebrity couples do that, the red carpet posing stuff, some don't, adn I am a bit surprised that I've seen Carl and Edie FOUR times on a red carpet in less than one year.
I think that Carl should do what will make him happy, if he doesn’t he’ll just turn destructive again I reckon, and the inevitable train wreck at the end will more or less resemble its predecessor.
“I also know that Pete, the next day, didn’t actually remember the massive bust-up. Carl does, but that’s the thing - Pete never remembers and Carl always does. But when they get together, Carl will forget the fact that he remembers, Pete doesn’t remember, Pete smiles at him, and it’s all good.”
—Gary Powell (drummer of the Libertines)
Ill never be fully satisfied with life until Carl and Pete announce their engagement.
